This course primarily addresses the need for everybody’s awareness about our environment; how it functions, its components, interactions of its components and effects of such interactions, natural processes which contribute to ecological balance, hazards associated with impaired natural cycles (e.g. pollution and climate change), and human impact on the environment including activities contributing to environmental destruction and ways humans can do in order to mitigate environmental problems.
